And floating in ever so gracefully is the erudite and ever-eloquent, feather-flourishing, plume-perfect personage known as quill.

Cautious of cats; deliberate 'round dogs, ever ready to take flight into the far reaches of the upper hack-mosphere (which he does every day in his catalogs).

Not finding an aviary in which to land in catjams, he is content to soar and scan...and land when he can.

A stroke or two is all he requires to keep his feather(s) from getting ruffled. And seeing the present company, a smile cuts across his hardened beak and a twinkle lights up his fierce eyes.

Aah, a place of comfort and repose...and...beer?
